What is a Hollywood bevel?
A Hollywood bevel is a long, gentle slope cut along the long edge of a threshold, instead of the small 1/4 inch chamfer of a standard bevel. A single Hollywood slopes on one long edge only, so it ramps down to the lower floor when the floors on each side of the doorway sit at different heights, for example thick tile on one side and thinner wood or vinyl on the other. The other long edge stays square against the higher floor.

We stock single hollywood bevel thresholds across marble, granite, travertine and quartz, in every stocked color and size. Every piece is cut and finished at our Jersey City, NJ shop, then packed in foam-lined boxes and shipped nationwide — local pickup is available and custom sizes are cut to your measurements in about a week.
